The year 1986 was a very good one for the Whalers franchise. The team hosted the NHL All-Star Game and made the playoffs for the first time in five years. The Whalers swept the Nordiques in three straight, but lost in a Game Seven overtime series to the eventual Stanley Cup Champions, the Montreal Canadiens. The 1986 Hartford Whalers Green Ringer T-shirt is a bright green 100% cotton t-shirt, with contrasting white neck and sleeve trim. The Whalers white road symbol with the 'whale tail' and 'W' (forming a green 'H' in the middle) is screen printed across the chest and the NHL Vintage label is embroidered above the bottom hem.
