The New York Americans were actually the first NHL franchise in the Big Apple, playing their first season in 1925/26 at the new Madison Square Garden. This 90% cotton/10% polyester athletic grey tee has the team symbol created for their white (road) jerseys, in use during the 1935/36 season. The NHL Vintage Hockey patch is also embroidered above the bottom hem. The 1935 New York Americans Athletic Grey T-shirt is a cool reminder that there was another New York team before the Islanders!!! Made in Canada.
