After making drastic changes to their uniforms in the late thirties and early forties (the Cubs were the first team to wear a vest during this period), the Cubs uniforms remained basically the same until 1962. The team introduced the Cub head patch onto the sleeve that year and it has remained (although modified and updated) ever since. The 1962 Chicago Cubs Cooperstown Ringer T-shirt is a 100% cotton carolina blue tee that displays the retro Cub below the familiar 'CHICAGO' of the road uniforms. This tee has contrasting navy blue trim on both the sleeves and at the neckline, with an embroidered Cooperstown Collection label above the bottom hem.
